Lazaroo – Tuesday, August 12, 2014
No comments, Aug 12, 2014
Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with white-hot fervor:
“And now the cry of the Israelites has reached me…”
(Exodus 3:9)
They had been crying a long time, Jesus.
Oh, not at first.
At first, they loved Egypt.
You brought them there to save their lives
and they were grateful.
But it wasn’t their home.
In time, it became uncomfortable
then intolerable.
At first, they merely requested relief
but then they began to beg You.
You wait to answer till I get serious, don’t You, LORD?
Really serious.
Because until I’m desperate
I’m unwilling to pay the price
the next step requires.
