Lazaroo – Thursday, July 31, 2014

Go to school on this example, as you pray aloud the words of this Lazaroo:
“[You]…commanded the prophets not to prophesy.”
(Amos 2:12)
Why would anybody do that, Jesus?
False prophets are everywhere.
True prophets are rare.
Why would anyone not want to hear the words You’ve instructed one of Your legitimate prophets to speak?
Oh.
Right.
They ordered Your prophets to stop prophesying
because they despised the message You told them to deliver.
But all they had to do was change their ways!
Then Your warning of punishment would have been lifted.
But they refused to do so
sealing their fate.
Seems like if I tried…
I might be able to learn something rather important from this.
