Lazaroo – Wednesday, June 25, 2014
No comments, Jun 25, 2014
Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with Godly discernment:
“You may say it…”
(1 Kings 2:14)
Bathsheba never should have allowed this man to speak, Jesus –
but she didn’t know it.
She was curious
wanted to know what he had to say.
Tragically, the man was a liar, a schemer.
Her curiosity almost got her and her son Solomon killed.
Before I satisfy my curiosity about what someone is about to say
I’d do well to take the measure of the person
who’s about to say it.
If the person’s character is suspect
I’d be wise to skip the speech.
