Lazaroo – Saturday, March 22, 2014
No comments, Mar 22, 2014
Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud…with a heart of compassion:
“You should not wait at the crossroads to cut down their fugitives…”
(Obadiah 1:14)
What can I learn from this, Jesus?
Apparently, when a city was overrun by invaders
the survivors would flee for their lives
not knowing there were evil people lying in wait
who planned to take advantage of their vulnerability.
They would attack, wound, even kill them
to steal their money, clothing, valuables
or just for sport.
You detested that then.
You detest it now.
There are vulnerable people all around me, Father!
May I never kick them
while they’re down.
