Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with unwavering faith:

“The great day of the LORD is near…”
(Zephaniah 1:14)

Yes it is, Jesus –

at least from Your perspective –

that great day when You rescue Your people
and punish all evildoers.

Of course, what’s near to You
may not occur during my lifetime.

No matter.

I have no desire to cling to my perspective.

I prefer Yours.

If that’s how You want me to regard it
that’s good enough for me.

I choose to live like it.

Of course…it might be near from my perspective, too.

Perhaps today.
