It’s easy to take advantage of hurting people, Jesus.

Some people make a living doing that.

People with their backs against the wall
are susceptible to off-the-wall

“cures”
behaviors
strategies
methods.

But You came to help the hurting!

They flocked to You from all over the countryside.

You didn’t exploit them
didn’t give them false hope.

You exceeded their hopes!

You loved them
delivered them
healed them
stood with them.

And that’s what You’ve called me to do.
