So many people don’t get this, Jesus.

When I do what is

right
just
fair

I’m not only pleasing You
I’m doing what is truly best for me.

When I cut corners to get what I think I want

doing what is

wrong
unjust
unfair

I not only fail to please You
I hurt myself.

So many people don’t get this, Jesus.

May I not be one of them.
