Lazaroo – Sunday, December 1, 2013
No comments, Dec 01, 2013
Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with sold-out surrender:
“…they called that place Bokim. There they offered sacrifices to the LORD.”
(Judges 2:5)
Quite a name, Jesus:
“Bokim” – meaning, “weepers.”
Who’d want to live in a town by that name?
But I don’t always get to choose, do I?
Sometimes – at least for a season –
“Bokim” is where You place me
and there I become…a weeper.
When that happens, I need to learn what they did next, don’t I?
They didn’t turn their backs on You.
Instead, they took their punishment
learned their lesson
and worshiped.
