Lazaroo – Saturday, November 30, 2013
No comments, Nov 30, 2013
Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with walk-softly care:
“Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools…”
(Romans 1:22)
That’s a shortcut to becoming a fool, isn’t it, Jesus?
Claiming I’m wise.
You’ve spelled it out:
If I think I know something
I don’t yet know what I ought to know.
You’d like me to exhibit a little humility…
to keep in mind how much I still have to learn.
I’m a learner
not a learned one.
I don’t want to become a fool, Jesus!
So I guess I’ve got to remember
how scary close I still am…
to being one.
