Lazaroo – Thursday, October 17, 2013
No comments, Oct 17, 2013
Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with sober vigilance:
“For there are many…deceivers…”
(Titus 1:10)
That’s hard to accept, Jesus…
hard to face
hard to endure.
But I know if You say it
it’s true.
A deceiver is the worst kind of hypocrite
not just pretending to be something they’re not
but pretending…in order to do me harm
setting me up
hiding a trap.
It’s ugly enough to realize there are some deceivers out there
but many?
Dear God:
Give me strength.
I want to stick my head in the sand and pretend this isn’t true
but I can’t.
Not if I want to survive.
O God!
Open my eyes.
