Lazaroo – Tuesday, October 15, 2013
No comments, Oct 15, 2013
Be alert for divine appointments, as you pray aloud the words of this Lazaroo:
“May the Lord show mercy to the household of Onesiphorus, because he often refreshed me…”
(2 Timothy 1:16)
This friend of Paul’s had quite a name, Jesus
and he was quite a man.
He saw that Paul was paying a huge price for following You.
So he made a point to refresh Paul’s battle-weary spirit.
Often.
I’m in need of a ton of mercy, too, LORD.
No way am I asking You to treat me
as my sins deserve.
So I guess I’d better get busy doing what Onesiphorus did:
staying on the lookout for hurting people
then coming alongside them
to refresh their spirits.
Often.
