Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with undying gratitude:

“God…put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.”
(2 Corinthians 1:21-22)

O Jesus.

I have Your guarantee:

I’ve been given eternal life
I get to go to heaven
unending pleasure awaits me

and during my remaining days on this earth
You’ll make everything work out for my good.

Of course…that’s assuming You’ve put Your Spirit in my heart.

How can I be sure You’re living in me, Holy Spirit?

Because I’ve put my trust in You alone, Jesus.
And when You tell me to do something

I do it.
