Ask God to help you make it intensely personal, as you pray aloud the words of this Lazaroo:

“He is to present the bull…lay his hand on its head and slaughter it before the LORD.”
(Leviticus 4:4)

That’s incredibly personal, Jesus.

There was no killing this bull from a distance
no sending someone else to do it for him.

He had to put his hand on its head

and end its life.

The thing is…the bull was innocent.

It was the man who had sinned.

Moments before, I wonder if he looked that bull in the eye and said –

“I’m so sorry.”

You laid down Your innocent life for me

even though I’m the one who sinned.

Oh, Jesus.
I’m so sorry.
