Lazaroo – Tuesday, September 17, 2013

Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with unquenchable gratitude:
“The whole town gathered at the door…”
(Mark 1:33)
I can only imagine, Jesus –
a stampede of men, women and children
clamoring, jostling, pleading –
to be next.
2,000 years later, it’s not just one tiny town.
It’s two billion people calling on Your Name.
But what a thrill to know I don’t have to compete with someone else for Your love, rapt attention and laser focus.
The 1on1 time I experience with You
and You enjoy with me
is mine every moment of the day I’m wise enough to know I need it
for as long as my aching heart desires.
