Lazaroo – Sunday, August 25, 2013
No comments, Aug 25, 2013
Ask God for a better memory, as You pray aloud the words of this Lazaroo:
“They did not ask, ‘Where is the LORD, who brought us up out of Egypt…?’”
(Jeremiah 2:6)
I forget so quickly, Jesus.
Please forgive me.
When a new challenge arises and You don’t immediately bail me out
I start worrying that this time
You’re not going to come through.
True, my fear is fueled by the awareness that I don’t deserve You to rescue me.
But that’s no excuse.
When have I ever deserved You to rescue me?
Yet You have –
over and over
in small ways and huge
time and time and time again.
I forget so quickly, Jesus.
Please forgive me.
