Lazaroo – Wednesday, May 29, 2013

Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with Biblical insight:
“They were brave warriors, famous men, and heads of their families. But they were unfaithful to the God of their fathers…”
(1 Chronicles 5:24-25)
It’s easy to think of Your followers as good people, Jesus…
non-Christians as bad.
But that’s just not true to life, is it?
There are a lot of really good people
who haven’t yet found You.
Sadly, I’ve run into deeply flawed people
who claim to be sold-out Christians.
In fact, I saw one of them recently
when I looked in the mirror.
I can have a lot of good things going for me
but like the serial killer who’s kind to animals
that doesn’t quite cut it.
I’ve got to keep growing…
but there’s only one thing I absolutely, positively have to get right:
my relationship with You.
‘cause what good would it do me to gain the whole world
and lose my soul?
