Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with rock-solid trust:
“As soon as they left the synagogue, they went with James and John to the home of Simon and Andrew. Simon’s mother-in-law was in bed with a fever, and they told Jesus about her. So he went to her, took her hand and helped her up. The fever left her and she began to wait on them.”
(Mark 1:29-31)
I wish that was the norm, Jesus!
Leave church with friends
come home to find someone sick
call on You
the person hops right up
we all enjoy dinner.
How awesome would that be?!
Can you still do that?
Absolutely.
So why doesn’t it happen more often?
I accept that it may not always be best.
The healing of our bodies isn’t priority #1.
In sickness You teach us things
we can’t learn any other way.
But how often do You not heal someone
because we don’t bother to ask?
