Lazaroo – Saturday, April 20, 2013
No comments, Apr 20, 2013
Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with unrestrained allegiance:
“But even the archangel Michael, when he was disputing with the devil…”
(Jude 1:9)
I don’t know, Jesus…
maybe I need to do a little more of that myself.
Why should I let the devil have the last word?
Why should I just sit here and take it?
I’m tired of being Satan’s punching bag.
He’s had his way with me long enough.
Yes, I know he’s powerful –
but not all-powerful.
He’s incredibly devious –
but He can’t begin to match wits with You.
By myself, I could never defeat him –
but I’m not by myself!
You promised You would never leave me alone.
You live in me!
Therefore, the one who lives in me
is greater than the one who is in the world.
It’s true that Satan has had countless laughs at my expense –
but he who laughs last
laughs best.
