He is risen!
He is risen indeed!
and ALL my imperfections
have been washed clean

they say an earthquake shook
that would rattle the centuries
the stone rolled back
and Jesus’ tomb was empty!

forgive me Father
for every time I doubted
I denied your blood
I cursed the sky and shouted

but you NEVER gave up
you NEVER left my side
took my sin to the grave
but you’re FOREVER alive!

your Spirit’s living inside
and I know you’ll never leave
the only thing you ask
is that we truly believe
