Lazaroo – Saturday, March 30, 2013
No comments, Mar 30, 2013
Hold back nothing, as you pray this Lazaroo out loud:
“They replied, ‘Let us start rebuilding.’ So they began this good work.”
(Nehemiah 2:18)
So few people are even willing to say the words, Jesus:
“Let’s start rebuilding!”
After all, to “rebuild”…
means something has been torn down.
When somebody comes along and destroys all my hard work –
it sucks the life out of me
makes me feel like giving up.
Somehow, these people leaned hard on You for the rare strength it takes to drive a stake in the ground and put themselves out there:
“We’re going to do this!”
But as rare as big talk is, there’s something far rarer:
They actually did it.
That takes raw courage.
I almost never control all the factors required for success.
I have absolutely no guarantee I’ll be able to finish.
But one thing I do know:
I’m certain to fail…
if I don’t grit my teeth and start.
