Matthew 25:31-46

Jesus I remember when you
came into my heart
I needed your salvation
as much as a fresh start

I made a vow to take on
a new and glorious mission
but it takes more than words
to be a virtuous Christian

I want to show every human being
how much they’re loved
so when I stand before you in Heaven
I’m willingly judged

good works and good deeds alone
will not win the race
but I’ve got to show others
your unconditional grace

as one who follows your Word
I represent you daily
I want the world to see you so much
they ask what changed me

when I take my last breath
I’ll know the race was won
and get to throw my arms around you
hearing “job well done!!!”
