Feel the hair stand up on the back of your neck, as you pray aloud the words of this Lazaroo:

“They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them.”
(Acts 2:3)

I’m putting myself in that room, Jesus…

seeing one of those tongues of fire head my way
wondering how I would feel
what I would feel

when it came to rest
on me.

I think I’d be a little scared

wondering what was about to happen.

Then suddenly, I’d be able to do something I was never able to do before!

Come to think of it…
that’s a lot like what happened when I first put my faith in You.

Whether I knew it or not…

You gave me at least one invisible spiritual gift
enabling me to do something I was never able to do before.

Wow.

Maybe I should devote more time to develop my gift

so the invisible
becomes a little more visible.
