Lazaroo – Sunday, March 3, 2013
No comments, Mar 03, 2013
Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud all the way to the marrow of your bones:
“News about him spread quickly over the whole region of Galilee.”
(Mark 1:28)
There’s a reason the news about You spread so quickly, isn’t there, Jesus?
Those who heard You
told others about You
Those who experienced Your power to heal
refused to keep the good news to themselves.
Those whose lives had been forever changed
wanted to see You do the same for everyone they knew.
They weren’t ashamed of You.
How could they be?
In spite of the fact that their religious leaders were trying to kill You
they gladly spread the word –
unlike what’s happening today.
Back then, their leaders couldn’t get them to shut up.
Today, our leaders can’t get us to speak up.
Why? What’s the difference?
You’re the same – yesterday, today and forever.
You’re as amazing as You ever were.
You haven’t changed.
We have.
