Lazaroo – Saturday, March 2, 2013
No comments, Mar 01, 2013
You might want to remove your shoes, as you pray aloud the words of this Lazaroo:
“‘Do not come any closer,’ God said. ‘Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy ground.’”
(Exodus 3:5)
Do I need to remove my sandals, Jesus?
Is the place I am standing at this very moment…
“Holy Ground?”
Is this where You’ve called me?
Is this:
my day
my chance
my moment
my turn?
Have You placed me here
to accomplish Your eternal purpose
to carry out Your assignment
for such a time as this?
To people of the past, this place I’m now standing
may have seemed to be unproductive soil.
To those who follow me in the future
the significance of this place where I’m standing
may have passed into oblivion.
To those of my own time
living anywhere else
this place I’m now standing
may look like nothing but dirt.
Maybe this isn’t anyone else’s holy ground.
But it’s mine.
