Lazaroo – Friday, December 21, 2012
No comments, Dec 21, 2012
Allow faith in Him to rise within you, as you pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud to God:
“‘I am with you,’ declares the LORD Almighty…my Spirit remains among you. Do not fear.’”
(Haggai 2:4-5)
That’s not a suggestion, is it, Jesus?
It’s a command.
And why wouldn’t it be?
If You’re with me…and You are
If You remain in me…and You do
fear is absurd.
But worse than that, if You’re with me and in me –
fear is an insult to You
a lack of faith in You
denial of Your power
disbelief in Your goodness.
It’s Your Word telling me You will never leave me or forsake me and me thinking –
“Yeah, well…this problem is too big.”
It’s Your Word telling me I can trust You no matter what the circumstances and me thinking –
“Maybe…but all I know is, what God is asking me to do just doesn’t make sense.”
My fear is no mere side issue, is it?
It’s a sin.
