Beg for perspective as you pray aloud the words of this Lazaroo to God:

“From you, O Nineveh, has one come forth who plots evil against the LORD…”
(Nahum 1:11)

Who is that stupid, Jesus?

Seriously.

Who would dare to plot against You?
Who in this world – or any other – thinks he is

smart enough
strong enough
wise enough
awesome enough

to take You on –

let alone beat You?!!!

The only one I know of is Satan himself.

In ages past, he caused an uprising among the angels
leading to war in heaven.

Michael and his angels defeated Satan and his angels

threw them out of heaven down to earth
where they’ve been tearing up jack ever since.

So when I doubt Your Word on some issue

when I think my plan is better than Yours
when I struggle with

what You allow to happen
what You don’t do that I wish You would

that’s who’s behind my rebellion, isn’t it?

Satan.
