Lazaroo – Friday, December 14, 2012
No comments, Dec 14, 2012
Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, overwhelmed with gratitude:
“I destroyed the Amorite before them, though he was tall as the cedars and strong as the oaks.”
(Amos 2:9)
That’s Your specialty, isn’t it, Jesus?
Doesn’t matter how big the person is
doesn’t matter how strong
how rich
how powerful
how crafty
how skillful
how confident
how famous
how well-connected
how big their army
how lofty their title.
If they attack me
while I’m faithfully, sincerely, trustfully following You
You will protect me
and deal with them.
I can’t tell You how much that means to me!
Joy overtakes me!
Hope floods my being!
Confidence rises within me!
Oh, what security I have in You!
If all desert me
if I stand utterly alone
defenseless
clueless
unaware
unarmed
unprotected
judged harshly
misunderstood
lied about
disrespected
dismissed
abandoned
wrongly accused
it doesn’t matter.
If You’ve got my back
I’m safe.
