Lazaroo – Saturday, December 8, 2012
No comments, Dec 08, 2012
Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, in total confidence:
“And you, son of man, do not be afraid of them or their words.”
(Ezekiel 2:6)
Is there somebody I’m afraid of right now, Jesus?
If my answer is, “Absolutely not!”
am I in denial?
But what if I am afraid of someone…or more than one?
What then?
Aren’t there people I should be afraid of?
After all, some people are truly dangerous.
But I guess there are two kinds of fear, aren’t there?
Healthy fear
Unhealthy fear.
It’s healthy to fear You.
It’s unhealthy to fear people who don’t fear You.
It’s healthy to fear disobeying You
It’s unhealthy to fear those who don’t mind disobeying You.
It’s healthy to fear that I might stray from Your Word
It’s unhealthy to fear people who despise Your Word.
It’s healthy to fear death without You
It’s unhealthy to fear people
who are dead while they live.
