Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud all the way to the marrow of your bones:

 “When the LORD saw that he had gone over to look, God called to him from within the bush, ‘Moses! Moses!’”
(Exodus 3:4)

If I want to hear Your Voice…

I’ve got to go over and look –
don’t I, Jesus?

It’s not enough

to merely notice that You’re at work.

When I suspect You may be doing something to get my attention

I’ve got to stop what I’m doing
lay my schedule aside
go investigate.

You wouldn’t think that would be hard to do!

After all, what could I possibly have on my calendar today
that could begin to compare to a message from You?

But in reality…

I’m way too hard for anyone to interrupt
even You.

I’m so fixated on

what I want
where I’m headed
what I’ve got to do

That it’s entirely possible for me to keep right on going

and miss You.
