I’m entrusting a lot to You, Jesus –

my dreams
my plans
my secret wishes

knowing that unless You come alongside me and make a way

none of it will happen.

I entrust to You my health –

spiritually
mentally
physically
emotionally

the number of days
I have left on this earth

knowing that without Your blessing

all the vitamins I take
all the doctors I visit
all the self-help books I read

will do no good.

I entrust to You the people in my life

my friends
my family
my leaders
my acquaintances
my enemies

those who pop up
then disappear

with seeming randomness

knowing that in reality they have been placed here
along with every element of my existence
