Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, in heartfelt gratitude:

“But show kindness to the sons of Barzillai of Gilead and let them be among those who eat at your table. They stood by me when I fled from your brother Absalom.”

Thank You for those people, Jesus!

those who’ve stood by me.

There were times when it felt like my whole world was about to come crashing down on me.

But it didn’t.
Because You were there

and so were they.

There were days when I was about to get what I so richly deserved.

But I didn’t.
Because You were there

and so were they.

How do I repay You for watching my back?
How can I ever thank enough those who stood by me

when commonsense told them to run?

I can’t.

Except to make sure that when their world is about to come crashing down

I’m there to stand by them.
