 “The people were all so amazed that they asked each other, ‘What is this?’”

You’ve always done that to people, Jesus.

That’s what You do to me.

Just when I think I’ve seen what You can do

You turn around and amaze me

all over again.

I’m amazed…

that You chose me to be Yours

before I was even born

that You loved me so much

You gave Your life on the cross for me

that in spite of how often I fail

You keep giving me chance after chance

that although You could keep me on the sidelines

You’ve sent me out onto the playing field

that knowing all my faults, shortcomings and limitations

You absolutely believe in me…in You

that even though I thoroughly deserve hell

You’re even now preparing a place for me

in heaven.
