Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with mounting confidence:

“‘I am with you,’ declares the LORD Almighty.”
(Haggai 2:4)

That’s all I need to know, Jesus:

You’re with me.

Well…that doesn’t mean I possess

all the knowledge I need to acquire
all the people I need to meet
all the skills I need to build
all the wisdom I need to absorb

but the fact that You’re with me

is the only thing
that makes any of that matter.

If You’re not with me

the knowledge I acquire is never enough
I will never be able to find the right people
my skills will prove to be utterly inadequate
my wisdom will prove hollow.

And if You’re opposed to me?

I don’t even want to go there.
The mere thought makes me shudder.

So…having established all that…

how do I get You to be with me wherever I go?

I’ve got to irrevocably commit

to be with You.
