Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with burning emotion:

“Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners—of whom I am that the worst. But for that very reason I was shown mercy so in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his unlimited patience as an example for those who would believe on him…”

So there’s value in me after all, Jesus!

– and in a way I could never have anticipated.

You’ve turned my shame, my disgrace, the inexcusable behavior of my past

into an asset.

Anyone who really knows me

my shortcomings
my failures
the worst blunders of my life

who discovers that at Your invitation

I’ve begged Your forgiveness
accepted Your full pardon
turned my life around

will at first scoff in disbelief

but then, stunned

consider – perhaps for the first time –

that You will do the same for them.
