Lazaroo – Monday, April 30, 2012

Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with motivated gratitude:
“The temple I am going to build will be great, because our God is greater than all other gods. But who is able to build a temple for him, since the heavens, even the highest heavens, cannot contain him? Who then am I to build a temple for him…?”
(2 Chronicles 2:5-6)
That’s exactly how I feel every time I get ready to tackle some project for You, Jesus.
Who am I?!
You know how often I fall short
how often I’ve sinned
how often I’ve shamed Your Name.
I’m a repeat offender.
Who am I?! –
that You would allow my soiled hands
to touch Your holy work?
But more than that…
You’ve actually gone down into the slums to get me
bring me back
clean me up
give me my next assignment for You.
Who am I –
that You would call me to represent You?!!!
