Lazaroo – Tuesday, January 31, 2012

Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, in absolute trust:
“They asked him, ‘Then who are you? Are you Elijah?’ He said, ‘I am not.’”
(John 1:21)
But he was, Jesus!
John the Baptist was the Elijah You promised to, “turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers.”
So when they asked him point blank if he was Elijah…
why did he deny it?
It was because he didn’t know that about himself, wasn’t it?
All he knew was, “I’m supposed to –
1. Go out in the desert.
2. Prepare the way for someone greater.”
You do the same thing for me, don’t You?
1. Tell me everything I need to know to do Your will.
2. Burden me with nothing else that would only distract me.
I’m okay with that.
But I can’t wait to get to heaven and find out what this whole thing was really about.
