Lazaroo – Monday, January 30, 2012
No comments, Jan 30, 2012
Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with total transparency:
“All the men assigned to the camp of Dan number 157,600. They will set out last…”
(Numbers 2:31)
It’s hard to be last, Jesus.
I live in a competitive world, made up of winners and losers.
To be a winner, I have to come in first.
In my world, coming in last means I’m a loser.
I don’t want to be a loser.
So that means I seldom sign up
for a race I don’t think I can win.
Most of the people I know feel the same way.
So there are a lot of races nobody signs up for
which means there are a lot of races
that never get run
a lot of jobs that never get done
a lot of people who never get
noticed
loved
respected
honored
won.
Is that why You’ve built into Your kingdom this remarkable incentive –
that the last…
…will be first?”
