Lazaroo – Tuesday, January 17, 2012
No comments, Jan 17, 2012
Open your mind and heart to a new level of understanding, as you pray aloud the words of this Lazaroo:
“Your eyes are too pure to look on evil; you cannot tolerate wrong. Why then do you tolerate the treacherous?”
(Habakkuk 1:13)
I love that I can ask You questions like this, Jesus.
You’re not offended when I point out to You what looks like a contradiction.
You look into my heart and can immediately tell:
I’m not accusing You of contradicting Yourself.
I’m begging You to help me understand!
I love something else about You, too:
You don’t get irritated when I ask You the same question this prophet asked 2,600 years ago:
As much as You hate evil –
why do You let people get away with it
when You alone have the power
to stop them in their tracks?
This is a test of my faith in You, isn’t it?
That one day:
in the perfect way
at the perfect time
justice will be perfectly served.
