Lazaroo – Thursday, December 15, 2011
No comments, Dec 15, 2011
Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with undiluted sincerity:
“The following came up from the towns…but they could not show that their families were descended from Israel…”
(Ezra 2:59)
How horrible that would be, Jesus –
to know who I am
but be unable to prove it.
to see right in front of me what should be mine
but be denied because I couldn’t convince someone else
of the truth.
It was a record-keeping issue!
That’s all.
But it was enough to exclude them.
Permanently.
I can’t even imagine how these people handled that emotionally.
Some of them had to bitterly place the blame on others.
Perhaps others knew full well…
they themselves were to blame.
Stuff like this haunts people.
It’s almost impossible to get over.
Have I got anything like this going on in my life?
Is there a sticking point anywhere in my past
that’s holding me back?
Please.
Help me let go of it.
