Lazaroo – Monday, November 14, 2009
No comments, Nov 14, 2011
Try to visualize the moment, as you pray aloud the words of this Lazaroo:
“…the angel who was speaking to me said, ‘Proclaim this word…’”
(Zechariah 1:14)
Wouldn’t that be somethin’, Jesus –
have an angel show up
tell me exactly what to say?
I’d be bursting with confidence after that!
full of wonder
stoked with conviction.
I mean, just the idea of seeing an angel with my own two eyes –
even if he never said a word –
would be enough to change my life.
But to have him give me a message to deliver?
I’d tell everybody.
It wouldn’t be as hard to speak up for You, then.
People would have to believe me!
The moment I explained that an angel appeared to me and told me…
…oh.
Dear God.
They wouldn’t believe me, would they?
Not a word of it.
Guess I’d better not wait on an angel…
to motivate me to speak up for You.
Your Word
is enough.
