Lazaroo – Friday, October 7, 2011
No comments, Oct 07, 2011
Before you begin your next project, pray aloud the words of this Lazaroo:
“Now I am about to build a temple for the Name of the LORD my God and to dedicate it to him for burning fragrant incense before him, for setting out the consecrated bread regularly, and for making burnt offerings every morning and evening and on Sabbaths and New Moons and at the appointed feasts of the LORD our God. This is a lasting ordinance for Israel.”
(2 Chronicles 2:4)
Solomon was so confident when he announced he was going to build You a temple – even though it was no small undertaking.
But that’s because it wasn’t His idea.
It was Yours.
All he was doing was carrying out the assignment You had given him.
That’s all I want to do!
I don’t want to make stuff up –
offer You gifts You don’t want
never asked for.
Use me, LORD –
to fulfill Your heart’s desire.
