Overwhelmed, pray aloud the words of this Lazaroo…doubled over with gratitude:
“…the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.”
(1 John 1:7)
What can wash away my sin?
O Jesus –
nothing but Your blood.
What can wash away the sins of my past?
O Jesus –
nothing but Your blood.
What can wash away the sins I commit today?
O Jesus –
nothing but Your blood.
What can wash away my sins in the future?
O Jesus –
nothing but Your blood.
What can wash away the sins I’ve committed in ignorance?
O Jesus –
nothing but Your blood.
What can wash away the sins I’ve knowingly, deliberately committed?
O Jesus –
nothing but Your blood.
What can wash away the sins I’ve forgotten –
the sins I haven’t even asked You to forgive?
O Jesus –
nothing but Your blood.
What can wash away not just most of my sins –
but all my sins –
even that one?
O Jesus –
nothing but Your blood.
