Lazaroo – Sunday, June 12, 2011
No comments, Jun 12, 2011
Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud all the way to the marrow of your bones:
“…for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that your faith…may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.”
(1 Peter 1:6-7)
O Jesus.
What a day that will be.
On that day
all this junk I’ve been slogging through
will seem like nothing.
On that day
every “risk” I supposedly took for You
will pay off in stunning measure
when my faith…becomes sight.
On that day
every sacrifice I’m making that now seems so huge
will feel like the bargain of a lifetime.
On that day
with the reality of eternity spread out before me
these trials that seem to go on and on and on
won’t even register.
On that day
I will finally get to see You.
O Jesus.
What a day that will be.
