Lazaroo – Friday, May 13, 2011
2 comments, May 13, 2011
Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, in dumfounded amazement:
“I am obligated both to Greeks and non-Greeks, both to the wise and the foolish.”
(Romans 1:14)
What a stunning insight, Jesus!
Everybody matters.
Everything matters.
You stoop down to make me great
and You use absolutely every shred
of every aspect of my life
to make that happen.
Every good person who has influenced my life
has been a gift from You.
But not only that!
You are even now transforming and reshaping into pure gold
all the terrible things every evil person has ever done to me.
It’s all grist for Your mill
the good
the bad
the ugly.
There’s no decision I can reach
no move I can make
that You cannot and will not orchestrate for my good
for the advancement of Your kingdom on earth
for the realization of Your purposes throughout eternity.
Knowing that makes me feel unimaginably small
and inconceivably important.
