Lazaroo – Tuesday, April 5, 2011

Allow the Holy Spirit to clear your mind as you pray aloud the words of this Lazaroo:
“When tempted, no one should say, ‘God is tempting me.’ For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone.”
(James 1:13)
That’s huge, Jesus.
I needed to know that about You
have that settled about You
once and for all.
As I look back, I don’t have to wonder whether You were the one who led me into this or that sin.
It wasn’t You.
At no time in my future will I ever have a thought pop into my head
that conflicts with the pure teaching of Your Holy Bible
and have to wonder if it might be from You.
It won’t be.
You have never tempted me to do anything wrong.
You never will tempt me to do anything that conflicts with the Scriptures.
So when such a thought pops into my head
I can fight it with all Your power inside me.
