Lazaroo – Friday, March 25, 2011
No comments, Mar 25, 2011
Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, from the depths of your soul:
“All their neighbors assisted them with articles of silver and gold, with goods and livestock, and with valuable gifts, in addition to all the freewill offerings.”
(Ezra 1:6)
I am so thankful You’ve given me this priceless privilege, Jesus!
When You made me
You could have turned me into a robot
You could have programmed my every
thought
word
action.
But You didn’t!
You still could…
but You don’t!
Instead, You’ve given me the power of choice.
I can choose You
or reject You.
Would rejecting You be incredibly stupid, foolish and disastrous?
Yup.
But if that’s what I choose to do…
I can.
The tithe isn’t an option.
It’s a command.
You tell me to give You ten percent.
When I do…
You feel my love.
But with freewill offerings
I’m the one who decides to show You still more…
how much I love You.
