Lazaroo – Monday, February 28, 2011
No comments, Feb 28, 2011
Put yourself in Jesus’ sandals, as you pray aloud the words of this Lazaroo:
“…when the Sabbath came, Jesus went into the synagogue and began to teach.”
(Mark 1:21)
You remember that day, don’t You, Jesus?
I’m reading about it
but You were there.
You walked into that synagogue with something to say.
No, wait a minute – not “something”
the thing.
You longed for them to grasp Your message straight from heaven
You knew it would change their lives if they acted on it
but they didn’t quite know what to make of You.
They had heard the rumors
lies
innuendo
controversy
jealous slander
Their minds had to be swirling with questions.
What was it like to be able to read their thoughts –
to know which of them was hanging on Your every word
and which was secretly rejecting You?
You’re doing the same thing with me right now, aren’t You?
reading my thoughts.
Whew.
So…
do You like what You see?
