Lazaroo – Thursday, February 24, 2011
No comments, Feb 24, 2011
Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, seeing through ancient eyes:
“But you ask, ‘How have we defiled you?’
By saying that the LORD’S table is contemptible.”
(Malachi 1:7)
I don’t usually think of my relationship with You in these terms, Jesus.
But since this is one way You see my life with You…
please help me view our walk together
through Your eyes.
What if each day is a table You set before me –
revealing huge opportunities, suggesting fascinating possibilities?
What if You allow me to place anything I desire on Your table…
but in the way You’ve arranged the table on this particular day –
the stemware, silverware, table decorations –
You’re giving me subtle clues about what’s best?
Since You know everything this day holds in store for me…
since You have in mind Your awesome Plan of the Ages…
since You know me perfectly…
wouldn’t I be an absolute fool
not to pay attention to those clues?
