Lazaroo – Sunday, February 20, 2011
No comments, Feb 20, 2011
Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with a heart that yearns to learn:
“Then they sweep past like the wind and go on – guilty men, whose own strength is their god.”
(Habakkuk 1:11)
See, I already know this, Jesus.
How stupid would a person have to be to worship himself?!
Right.
So why do I keep forgetting this?
Why do I slog through a huge portion of every day in my own strength
instead of Yours?
You know what I suspect it is?
I don’t have the foggiest clue
how to go about living in Your strength
instead of my own.
Something tells me this is huge.
Let’s see:
1. My strength is puny
2. Yours is unlimited
I’m not the sharpest knife in the drawer…
but is it possible that I may be able to accomplish a little more in life
if I learn how to do it in Your strength
rather than mine?
I’m all ears, Holy Spirit:
Teach me.
