Lazaroo – Friday, February 11, 2011
No comments, Feb 11, 2011Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with unshakable faith:
“In the second year of his reign, Nebuchadnezzar had dreams; his mind was troubled and he could not sleep.”
(Daniel 2:1)
My dreams are seldom – if ever – as significant as this king’s dreams, Jesus
but I sure know what it is to have a mind so troubled
that I can’t sleep.
I’m deeply ashamed to admit that.
Shouldn’t I trust You, instead of worrying?
How am I any different from an atheist
when I have so little confidence in Your ability to work everything out
that I can’t even shut down my mind for a few hours
and get the rest I so desperately need?
Forgive me, LORD!
Holy Spirit, please remind me that You’ve never let me down
that You are in control
that even when my prospects appear most bleak
You will guide me and protect me
every step of the way.
